Golf TotalGuide Launches AI-Powered Golf Course Discovery Across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Vermont
New app matches golfers to courses that fit their game — and shows them exactly how every hole plays before the first tee
BOSTON, MA — Golf TotalGuide, the AI-powered golf course discovery app, today announced its launch across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Vermont, covering 360+ publicly accessible courses in the four-state region.
Golf TotalGuide replaces star ratings with simulation. Each golfer maps to one of 312 modeled player profiles — built from skill level, driving distance, consistency, miss direction, tee choice, and risk tolerance — and every course is then scored against that profile across 30 dimensions. Some are simulated outcomes: how often a player of that type finds the fairway, what trees and forced carries actually cost them, how often they get up and down. Others describe the course itself — corridor tightness, green difficulty, tiered greens, strategic complexity, conditioning, pace, and value. The result answers a question a star rating cannot: not whether a course is good, but whether it is good for you.
Once matched, golfers can plan every hole in detail with Golf TotalGuide's Course Plan, built on LiDAR-based course geometry and shot simulation. Users see how each hole really plays: which way the ground rolls, which hazards are in reach, and where their shots are most likely to finish. An AI Guide answers course questions in plain English — "Show me 18-hole Donald Ross courses in eastern Massachusetts that are a high match for me" resolves architect, hole count, region, and personal fit in a single question — and built-in trip planning lets golfers organize multi-course getaways in one place.
